About Joshua Boyce, LCSW

Who I am and what I do

I completed my Master of Social Work degree in 2016 and have been working with people from all walks of life since that time. Over the course of the past eight years, I've accumulated experience across multiple settings, including work as a therapist in a residential facility serving individuals with developmental disabilities, adults working to overcome addictions, and adolescents in recovery from severe abuse and neglect. In addition, I've worked in community mental health settings, run a student assistance program at a local university, and now, I'm serving adult clients in my own private practice.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating through the challenging experiences of depression, anxiety, life transitions, and recovery from trauma. I work with individuals of any race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, and religion or spirituality. People who think and feel deeply, who are creative, those who belong to alternative faith traditions, or people who live a little "outside of the box" are welcome here and can rest assured that they will be received with warmth and compassion.

Maybe you're feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward. I'd like to invite you to take the first step (which is often the hardest!) towards a life that you find fulfilling and meaningful by reaching out to me.
